Day 4: trebuchets and bank logos

We are here in Texarkana. I’m not sure if we are in Texas or Arkansas. Our friend @savannahsmith is letting us crash on her floor. She is awesome. We have a meeting tomorrow with a potential client, it was a random cold-call. I think there is a lot of potential to help out. I love friendly business owners.

Our video has a segment of us brainstorming. You might be wondering what Martin is floating on. It is an “inverter”. Apparently it straitens your spine out. Sadly we couldn’t take it with us.

Bank logo. What did we learn? When we can cross-pollinate time management and creative thinking effectively, our lives as designers will be much easier. We have a ways to go.

Cool stuff incoming tomorrow, get ready.

First, I’m from Texarkana! I went to Arkansas High School in Texarkana. It’s were the Razorbacks roam. As for the other side of Texarkana….it’s where the Texas High Tigers roam. But I currently live in Lincoln Nebraska. Wish I could meet you and hug and or shake your hand.

Second, I’d like to say you guys are amazing. You are the reason this word will change for the better. It’s courageous and inspiring at the same time to see two individuals, literally, following their passion.

Thirdly, I’ve eating at Rosa’s Mexican Cafe. Awesome food! I know you guys will do a sweet job on her design.

You guys are an inspiration. I’d even donate to you. May not be big, but it will definitely feed you. Get in contact with me.

What are you guys doing?

We began this journey by designing our way across the country. Connecting & learning from creatives around the US and sharing what we learned with students. We lived and designed from the road for five months. This blog is our story. We're now Drifting Creatives, a small web, print and identity design firm, usually located Texas. Keep an eye on us, our next drift will be just as epic.
